AS REPORTER, YOUR NEXT ACTION IS…
Follow up!
After sufficient time has passed for the safety team to process your issue, you may be interested in seeing what steps management is taking to resolve your reported issue. By selecting the "tracking link," you shall see your issue's responsible manager and what corrective actions were accepted or completed. "Tracking links" will take you into Issue Manager where your reported issue is loaded on the Details tab.
Leave Comments When Necessary
Safety Managers and Department Heads value your input. Employee input and follow-up is critical to improving system safety. Review your issues and leave comments whenever you feel they will add value to the issue resolution process. You may discover that management is taking too long to manage your issue or they may not have realized the import of your reported issue. This is your chance to document your concerns and contribute to workplace safety. Comments can be added anytime at the bottom of Issue Manager's Details tab.
Discover What Other Employees Are Reporting
We are naturally curious as to what other employees are reporting into the safety system. By reviewing the reported issues that other employees report, we become aware and discover what other hazards may be lurking in the workplace. In the Safety Promotion >> General Issue Viewer, all employees can view past reported issues' desensitized data.
Learn What Issues Are Important to Management
Your safety program has been designed to address safety, security, quality, compliance and environmental concerns. Management may want you to focus your attention to particular types of issues. Learn what management values on the About Reporting Issues tab in My Safety >> Submit a New Issue.
Keep Current on the Latest Safety Information
Dashboards often provide employees with quick views of KPIs (key performance indicators) relevant to your company's safety program. You can easily monitor your company's major safety functions by going to My Safety >> Executive Dashboard. Information presented in your dashboard is relevant to your assigned role(s) or permissions. You can easily arrange your personal dashboard to display information you value by dragging and dropping or deleting reports that offer no value to you.
